Wet, sandy, depressional opening ... Wetland origin unclear (natural vs. shallow borrow pit)? Damp sands of depressional wetland. Along edges in less disturbed areas with Lycopus uniflorus, Ranunculus reptans, Alisma triviale, Eleocharis acicularis, Carex cryptolepis, Cyperus biparitus etc. Area currently used as an ATV wallow.
