Habitat: Sedge meadow, wet prairie swale in an active pasture. Some invasive species: Canada thistle, red top grass, Kentucky bluegrass. Cattails in wetter areas. Associated species: Spartina pectinata, Calamagrostis canadensis, Carex stricta, Helianthus nuttallii, Thalictrum dasycarpum.
