Habitat: On the north shore of [lake] ... Wet sandy-gravel in area kept moist by groundwater seepage from base of steep, 40-foot, south-facing slope. Seeps are diffuse, with cold, clear water emerging 2-3 feet above lake level. Full sun. Associates include Ranunculus pensylvanicus, Rumex maritimus, Mimulus glabratus, Veronica americana, Eleocharis intermedia, Alopercurus aequalis.
