Habitat:
Plants occur along the edge of the river and grassy, boggy lakeshore. Associated with Lythrum salicaria var. tomentosum, Lycopus uniflorus, Acorus calamus, Sparganium fluctuans, Polygonum amphibium var. stipulaceum.
