Habitat:
Mesic prairie along beach ridge. Sand-blacksoil mix to 1 ft. with sand base. Flat, possibly burned last spring. Assoc. spp.: Gaillardia aristata, Bouteloua gracilis, Amorpha canescens, Andropogon etc.
