Habitat: Elongate minerotrophic wetland complex between low, north-south trending drumlins...rich shrub swamp dominated by tall Betula glandulifera & Salix petiolaris, with very widely scattered canopy of Larix laricina. Full sun to partial shade. Saturated, quaky, moss-covered peat substrate. In Sphagnum mosses. Additional associates include Calamagrostis canadensis, Glyceria canadensis, Equisetum fluviatile, Potentilla palustris, Bidens connata, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Thelypteris palustris.
