Habitat: in moist to wet soil in small seepage swamp along base of 230ft, north-facing slope; Open canopy composed of Fraxinus nigra, Quercus macrocarpa, Q. alba & Acer saccharum. Associates include Equisteum [sic] hyemale, E. arvense, Glyceria striata, Carex gracillima, C. stipata, C. laevivaginata, C. radiata, C. hysteracina, C. deweyana, C. granularis, Campanula aparinoides, Floerkea proserpinacoides, Viola cucullata, Caltha palustris.
