seepage amongst bedrock exposures of Thomson Formation (slate & graywacke) alnog [river] gorge. Under young canopy of Fraxinus pennsylvanica & Alnus incana. Associates include Carex retrorsa, C. crinita, C. stipata, C. projecta, C. bromoides, Glyceria striata, Caltha palustris, Impatiens capensis, Thuja occidentalis.
