Habitat: in heavily grazed (by cattle) alluvial meadow on the river bank just downstream from the [bridge]. Full sun. Moist to wet shallow organic soil over sand and gravel. Associated species include Phalaris arundinacea, Carex lacustris, Sparganium eurycarpum, Rumex obiculatus.
