On ridge running EW; under mature red pine, jack pine and birch with Viburnum rafinesquianum, Aster macrophyllus, Schizachrium [sic] purpurescens, Lathyrus ochroleucus, and Corylus cornuta; withing [sic] a few hundred feet of 20 yr old aspen clearcut.
