in shallow loamy soil over bedrock on two acre granite outcrop. Mostly in full sun. Associated species include Carex tenera, C. pensylvanica, Poa pratensis, Andropogon gerardii, Oxalis violacea, Ranunculus fascicularis, Achillea millefolium.
