Habitat: in bog / shrubby poor fen in five acre depression surrounded by deciduous forest. Trailing through hummocks of Sphagnum. Partial shade of Larix laricina & Betula glandulifera. Associated species include Carex lasciocarpa, C. lacustris, C. canescens, Vaccinium oxycoccus, V. macrocarpon, Salix pedicellaris, Potentilla palustris, Polygonum sagittatum. Most common on drier hummocks.
