Habitat: In floodplain forest inclusion of lowland hardwood forest. In raceway channel dominated by silver maple and black ash. Mostly on saturated mud near stagnant pools. Acer saccharinum, Fraxinus nigra, Cinna arundinacea, Elymus virginicus, Carex radiata, Arisaema triphyllum.
