Habitat: in narrow strip of wet prairie around margin f small upland rise in large wetland complex along [creek]; Moist, sandy, organic soil. Associates include Spartina pectinata, Poa pratensis, P. palustris, Carex haydenii, Thalictrum dasycarpum, Zizia aurea, Anemone canadensis, Onoclea sensibilis, Spiraea alba, Salix bebbiana.
