Habitat: In crevices and on ledges of north, southwest, and east-facing, dry, rhyolite cliffs which rise up to 50 feet to form margin of this small bedrock island. Not present on most of weedy interior of island which is active herring gull nesting colony. Mostly in full sun. Associates include Poa sp., Agrostis scabra, Trisetum spicatum, Draba arabisans, Achille millefolium, Campanula rotundifolia, Potentilla norvegica, Woodsia ilvensis, Rumex acetosella Matricaria matricarioides.
