Habitat: Tamarack swamp basin surrounded by maple basswood forest. Growing on mat of sphagnum moss with Thelypteris palustris, Calla palustris, Dulichium arundinaceum, Carex lacustris, Betula glandulifera, Vaccinium macrocarpon, Larix laricina.
