Habitat: Mature, Dry-Mesic Mixed Oak Forest dom. by Quercus velutina, Ulmus americana, Celtis occidentalis, Juglans cinerea. On slope crest, 100% canopy. Silty loam, W-aspect, 2-4% slope. Plants forming large mat (30 x 20 M) comprising 75% of the cover. Galearis spectabilis, Laportea canadensis, Parthenocissus quinquefolia.
