Large wet meadow / shrub swamp / tamarack swamp complex ... In wet meadow and willow swamp near margins of upland islands. Small to rather large patches in full sun to partial shade. Saturated peat. Associated species include Carex lacustris, Caltha palustris, Phragmites australis, Salix petiolaris, S. discolor.
