Habitat: on floating sedges and sphagnum at center of large 80 acre bog dominated by Carex lasiocarpa and Carex aquatilis, with Rhynchospora alba, Vaccinium macrocarpon, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Drosera rotundifolia. Epilobium leptophyllum, Solidago gigantea, Solidago uliginosa, Rubus allegheniensis, Rubus strigosus, Rubus fulleri, Athyrium angustum.
