Habitat: In bedrock crevices on fairly level sites atop rhyolite cliffs which rise up to 50 feet to form the margin of this small bedrock island. Also present in the islan's interior which is very weedy due to an active herring gull nesting colony ... Mostly in full sun. Associates include Poa sp., Agrostis scabra, Trisetum spicatum, Draba arabisans, Achillea millefolium, Campanula rotundifolia, Matricaria matricarioides, Rumex acetosella.
