Habitat: In peatland, along the northwest shoreline of a shallow, boggy, ~40-acre lake. Full sun. Scattered plants rooted in supersaturated, unconsolidated muck churned up by wildlife and floating on the near-shore portions of the lake.
Associated Species: Eleocharis ovata, Cyperus odoratus, Zizania palustris, Typha x glauca, Utricularia gibba, Brasenia schreberi.
