Associated species include Iris versicolor, Cardamine pensylvanica, Aster ontarionis, Boehmeria cylindrica, Myosotis laxa, Polygonum hydropiper, Onoclea sensibilis, Penthorum sedoides, Scutellaria lateriflora, Laportea canadensis, Carex lupulina, C. projecta, C. cristatella, C. retrorsa, C. stipata, C. intumescens, Elymus virginicus.
