Extensive inter-drumlin wetland complex on rolling drumlin plain ... patterned rich sedge fen along water track ... Mostly in wetter Carex lasiocarpa-dominated areas (flarks) between somewhat drier strings of Betula glandulifera that have formed perpendicular to the subtle surface water flow. In water up to 12 inches deep over spongy peat. Full sun. Additional associates include Utricularia intermedia, Equisetum fluviatile, Aster borealis, Potentilla palustris, Galium labradoricum, Triglochin maritima, Thelypteris palustris, Menyanthes trifoliata, Carex diandra, C. chordorrhiza, C. livida, C. interior, C. buxbaumii, Muhlenbergia glomerata, Eriophorum gracile, E. chamissonis, Eleocharis palustris.
