Habitat:
on floating sedge mat (rich fen) on boggy margin of shallow marly lake. Narrow zone between open water and tamarack swamp. In small, shallow pools and wet spots between hummocks. Full sun to partial shade of Betula glandulifera and young Larix laricina. associates include Utricularia minor, Carex lasiocarpa, C. prairiea, Drosera rotundifolia, Ribes hirtellum.
