Habitat: small depression in stronly-rolling, wooded terrain adjacent to [park]. Ocassional in continuous Sphagnum moss carpet on boogy sedge mat (poor fen) surrounded by 70 foot gravelly hills. Full sun. Associates include Thelypteris palustris, Drosera rotundifolia, stunted Larix laricina, Carex lasiocarpa, Dulichium arundinaceum, Potentilla palustris, Aster umbellatus.
