On a rather large sandbar along the north bank of the river ... Substrate variously sand or gravel, several inches above current river level. Full sun. Associated species include Eleocharis acicularis, E. intermedia, Cyperus fuscus, C. squarrosus, C. odoratus, Veronica catenata, Heteranthera dubia, Mimulus ringens, Polygonum lapathifolium, Lindernia dubia.
