Associates include Schizachyrium scoparium, Bouteloua curtipendula, Stipa viridula, Muhlenbergia cuspidate [sic], Calylophus serrulata, Onosmodium molle, Psoralea argophylla, Zizia aptera, Cirsium flodmonii [sic], Astragalus crassicarpus, Asclepias viridiflora, and others.
