Habitat: One robust plant on outside edge at top of old railroad grade. Plant found in slightly disturbed area on sandy-gravelly fill with moderate amount of organic mattter. Associates include Poa pratensis, Monarda fistulosa, Ambrosia artemesifolia, Andropogon gerardii, Sorghastrum nutans, Euphorbia esula, and others.
