Habitat: Small poor fen basin (~3.5 acres) in rolling mesic hardwood forest. Very subtle transition to wetland with not much slope. Large, mature Larix laricina around edge which then opens into poor fen. Eriophorum found only at northern end of wetland in sphagnum hummocks; it is dominating this side. Not a floating mat. Other species present include Chamaedaphne calyculata, Kalmia polifolia, Scheuchzeria palustris, Vaccinium oxycoccus, and Rhynchospora alba.
