Associated species include Cardamine bulbosa, Caltha palustris, Impatiens capensis, Mitella nuda, Circaea alpina, Saxifraga pensylvanica, Cypripedium parviflorum, Thelypteris palustris, Osmunda cinnamomea, Carex leptalea, Rhamnus alnifolia.
