Gently rolling forested terrain ... In small (1/4-acre) vernal wetlands embedded in rich hardwood forest. Shaded by partial canopy of Fraxinus nigra. In wet mucky soil and shallow water to 12 inches deep.
Phalaris arundinacea, Ranunculus flabellaris, Glyceria striata, Cardamine pensylvanica, Sium suave, Lemna minor, Mentha arvensis, Alisma triviale.
