large granite outcrop rising 40 ft. above surrounding terrain. Forming a small, rather dense patch in shallow soil over bedrock. In full sun to shaded by Quercus macrocarpa & Juniperus virginiana. Associates include Andropogon gerardii, Poa compressa, Toxicodendron rydbergii.
