Adventive shrubs 1 m tall, arching branches, shiny leaves, veins impressed, pale green below, leaves 2.4-6.8 c 1.4-3.8 cm wide; 2-6 fls/infl; buds dark pink-red center and pale or white appex; 20 stamens; filaments pink, base dark pink, apex pale; fresh anthers white; 3 styles
