Habitat: At the edge of an alluvial forest and a mowed picnic grounds (absent from forest interior) ... Associated with Viburnum lentago, Prunus americana, Crataegus punctata, Lonicera tatarica, Cornus amomum ssp. obliqua.
Description: A mediium-size shrub with 3 main stems each 2-3 meters tall and about 4 cm in dia. Stamens 7-10, anthers white. No compound thorns present. At peak of anthesis this date (season one week late this yr.). Collected from same stem as #25936 & #25355 (fr specimens).
