Habitat: Gently-sloping terrain ... along umimproved two-track logging road where it crosses an inter-drumlin wetland ... Frequent on open peaty substrate exposed by vehicle traffic. (Wetland quite dry due to extended drought.) Full sun. Associated species include Eleocharis acicularis, E. obtusa, Leersia oryzoides, Glyceria grandis, Echinochloa muricata, Gnaphalium uliginosum, Bidens cernua, B. frondosa, B. comosa, Polygonum papathifolium, Hypericum majus, Alisma subcordatum, Lindernia dubia.
