Habitat: At the edge of a forest of aspen, spruce and oak ... Associated with Cornus foemina ssp. racemosa, Viburnum lentago.
Description: A single-stemmed individual 2 m tall and 6 cm diameter. Stamens ca 10, anthers white. Compound thorns absent, but simple thorns present. Fruit red (ripe), L=0.90-1.15 cm, W=0.80-1.10 cm. Nutlets 3. Collected from same stem as WRS 26161 (flowering).
