Habitat: boggy floating mat on south side of the lake. In Sphagnum moss carpet. In full sun to partial shade of Larix laricina. Associates include Carex lasiocarpa, C. utriculata, Dulichium arundinaceum, Scheuchzeria palustris, Triadenum fraseri, Sarracenia purpurea, Potentilla palustris, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Andromeda glaucophylla, Vaccinium macrocarpon, Chamaedaphne calyculata.
