Habitat: Rather strongly-rolling wooded terrain; in sedge fen dominated by Carex lasiocarpa in 15 acre depression with small open water section. In continuous carpet of Sphagnum moss. Spongy substrate. Full sun. Additional associates include Carex lacustris, Vaccinium macrocarpon, Triadenum fraseri, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Drosera rotundifolia, Thelypteris palustris, Polygonum sagittatum, Lycopus uniflorus.
