Habitat: Rolling wooded terrain ... Uncommon in boggy poor fen in fairly long, narrow basin. Wetter depressions of spongy peat sudstraite with continuous Sphagnum carpet. Full sun. Associates include Carex utriculata, C. lasiocarpa, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Vaccinium oxycoccus, Andromeda glaucophylla, Drosera rotundifolia, Scheuchzeria palustris, Sarracenia purpurea.
