Habitat: In brushy thicket under a canopy gap in a forest dominated by Populus tremuloides and P. balsamifera...Associated with Prunus virginiana, Ribes americanum, Corylus cornuta.
Description: One main stem ca 2.6 m tall, and 6 cm dia near base, and 3 smaller sucker stems. Specimen taken from same stem as WRS 25479. Stamens 8-10, anthers pale yellow.
