Near swimming beach on eastern shore ... In shallow organic soil over sand in narrow band of wet meadow, and in moist open sand of adjacent wet-mesic area maintained (mowed) as lawn. Full sun. Associated species include Carex haydenii, Cyperus squarrosus, Juncus bufonius, Lobelia siphilitica, Agalinus tenuifolia, Fragaria virginiana, Trifolium pratense, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Euthamia graminifolia.
