Habitat: Gently-rolling terrain ... along unimproved two-track logging road where it crosses an inter-drumlin wetland ~ 150 yards north of the [river] ... open peaty substrate exposed by vehicle traffic. (Wetland quite dry due to extended drought.) Full sun ... Associated species include Eleochris acicularis, Leersia oryzoides, Panicum philadelphicum, Glyceria grandis, Echinochloa muricata, Polygonum lapathifolium, Alisma subcordatum, Bidens cernua, B. frondosa, B. comosa, Gnaphalium uliginosum, Hypericum majus, Lindernia dubia.
