Habitat:
large granite outcrop complex rising to 60 feet above river and surrounding landscape. In full sun. In moss and lichen mat in slight depression on nearly flat-toped bedrock exposure. Associates include Danthonia spicata, Carex cf. umbellata, Selaginella rupestris, Hedeoma hispida, Allium stellatum.
