Habitat: Rather strongly-rolling wooded terrain ... sedge fen in fairly shallow 10 acre depression. Saturated, slightly bouncy, non-Sphagnum moss and sedge mat. Full sun. Associates include Carex lasiocarpa, C. aquatilia, C. lacustris, Epilobium leptophyllum, Triadenum fraseri, Galium labradoricum, Polygonum sagittatum, Cicuta bulbifera, Sagittaria latifolia, Lycopus uniflorus, Scutellaria galericulata.
