Habitat: Rolling forested moraine...in poor to rich sedge fen forming broad zone around small pool in wetland connected to [lake]. Saturated peat. Sphagnum moss carpet. Associaated species include Larix laricina, Betula glandulifera, Salix pedicellaris, S. candida, Carex lasiocarpa, C. lacustris, C. canescens, C. interior, C. disperma, Eriophorum gracile, Thelypteris palustris, Potentilla palustris, Calla palustris, Triadenum fraseri, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Aster borealis.
