Rolling forested terrain ... around a small (~two acres) shallow bog pond, in center of large poor fen ... in carpets of Sphagnum spp. mosses. Full sun. Associated species include Drosera intermedia, Triadenum fraseri, Lycopus uniflorus, Scheuchzeria palustris, Utricularia intermedia, Potentilla palustris, Rhynchospora alba, Dulichium arundinaceum, Carex echinata, C. lasiocarpa, C. canescens, C. limosa, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Andromeda glaucophylla.
