Habitat: Wetland complex in rolling forested moraine ... In low shrub poor fen / scrub tamrack in central portion of wetland complex. Full sun to partial shade of stunted larix laricina. Quaky, deep, saturated peat. Associates include Eriophorum gracile, E. chamissonis, Carex chordorrhiza, C. lasiocarpa, Glyceria canadensis, Ledum groenlandicum, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Vaccinum oxycoccus, Andromeda glaucophylla, Smilacina trifoliata.
