Habitat: Growing along the curb of the stone-built wayside rest. Plants occur along the shallow, sandy northeast bay; Associated with Potamogeton gramineus, Sagittaria rigida, Myriophyllum sibiricum, Spirodela polyrhiza, Najas flexilis.
