Habitat: Extensive wetland complex ... In alluvial meadow dominated by Calamagrostis canadensis. Rooted in moist peat between tall Calamagrostis hummocks. Broad meadow bordering the river, typically flooded through much of growing season. Full sun. Additional associates include Urtica dioica, Rorippa palustris, Ranunculus pensylvanicus, Polygonum amphibium, var. stipulaceum, Sagittaria latifolia, Sparganium eurycarpum, Galium trifidum, Mentha arvensis, Cirsium arvense, Scutellaria lateriflora, Rumex orbiculatus.
