Habitat: In a brushy thicket that developed in an old field (abandoned about 20 years)...Associated with Prunus americana, Ulmus pumila.
Description: A tall single-stemmed shrub with a trunk about 5 meters tall and 6 cm diameter. This specimen collected from same stem as WRS 24072. Stamens ca 20, anthers pale yellow. Fruit a dull red color.
